Film at the Gene Siskel Film Center

TBS PRESENTS A VERY FUNNY FESTIVAL: JUST FOR LAUGHS and the Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago are collaborating on four nights of the best independent comedic shorts and feature films scouted by or submitted to Just For Laughs and the Gene Siskel Film Center, plus exclusive screenings of the winning films from the Christopher Wetzel Award for Independent Film Comedy. This event will take place within the Indie Comedy The Christopher Wetzel Award for Independent Film Comedy which was created at the Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to support independent filmmakers.

This partnership allows experts in the field of independent film selection to join forces and provide the best possible film line-up. Each year, for the past 13 years, Just For Laughs has traveled the world to look for the best independent comedic short and feature films, and, for over 30 years, the Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago has presented world-class independent, international, and classic cinema.
