Robert Smigel
Robert Smigel came to Chicago in the 80s to study improv, but learned more about Bozo's Circus, Clutch Cargo, and beefy Bears fans. Here is everything he's ever done: sketch writer on SNL (yeah, "Da Bears" was his thing), first head writer on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, the mouth on Clutch Cargo, executive producer/writer/Bob Dole portrayer on The Dana Carvey Show, assaulter of live animals using a dog puppet, creator of TV Funhouse for SNL and Comedy Central, Grammy-nominated recording artist for "Come Poop with Me," writer/producer/hand model for You Don't Mess with the Zohan, producer of Night of Too Many Stars, and writer of numerous failed movie scripts and TV pilots, including Lookwell, Hans and Franz: The Girly-Man Dilemma and the beauty you will see at this festival.
All talent and shows are scheduled to appear and subject to change.
