Maz Jobrani
On the big screen, you might remember Maz Jobrani as “Moly” in Friday After Next, secret service agent “Mo” in The Interpreter opposite Sean Penn and Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Garner’s colleague “Glenn” in 13 Going on 30. His television credits include regular spots on ABC’s Better Off Ted and The Knights of Prosperity, and appearances on 24, ER and Curb Your Enthusiasm among others. He recently sold a TV show to CBS based on his life in the US as an Iranian-American, and is preparing to shoot the upcoming film Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero. Jobrani is a founding member of the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour, whose 2007 Comedy Central Special premiere was the first show to feature all-Middle-Eastern talent on American television. He also joins the ranks of Political Science Ph.D. candidates who dropped out to pursue lucrative comedy careers. Welcome to the dark side!
Note: Maz is only hosting the Friday, June 19 "Best of the Fest" show, below. Please confirm show lineups on the ticketing page before purchasing. All talent and shows are scheduled to appear and subject to change.
