Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, Roy has been recently featured on The Late Show w/ David Letterman, HBO's Def Comedy Jam, Comedy Central's Premium Blend. BBC's The World Stands-Up: LONDON, , The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and TV One's The Funny Spot with Tony Rock, He's also a regular guest on Chelsea Lately.

An Entertainment Weekly article described Roy's brand of Humor as "charismatic crankiness" and the Montreal Gazette call his performance at the 2006 ' Montreal Just for Laughs Festival' "tremendous"

Currently living in Los Angeles, Roy's hilarious prank calls have been syndicated nationally and can now be heard on 50 radio stations across the country and are a mainstay on Jamie Foxx's 'Foxxhole Radio' on Sirius/XM.
