James Fritz

James Fritz moved to Chicago in 2000 from his home state of Kentucky, but still struggles with his religious upbringing, Republicans, Democrats, people who pick sides, people who don’t, and all four seasons. He has opened for such diverse performers as Rick Shapiro, Jamie Kilstein, Brendon Burns, and TJ Miller and can be heard on the increasingly popular internet radio show Red Bar Radio. He’s very proud to co-produce what is widely heralded as the best open-mic in Chicago, Your Sunday Best at Schubas, and to pour his comedy into any mic he can get his grubby hands on.
